RESOLVED: that the Minutes of the meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee held on 26 November 2024 be approved and signed by the Chairman.

RESOLVED: That the Overview and Scrutiny Committee noted the proposals, in particular they:
a) support the report together with the draft Medium-Term Financial Strategy (Appendix 1), revenue estimates and capital programme for the 2025/26 budget for consultation with stakeholders. In particular:
b) note the Section 25 Statement (Appendix 2), updated draft MTFS position and the revised revenue estimates for 2024/25 and 2025/26;
c) support the revised Capital Programme;
d) support that the minimum level of general fund reserves is maintained at £1.5m;
e) note that the Leader of the Council be authorised to make any necessary amendments to include any late information or to correct any errors or omissions

RESOLVED: That the Overview and Scrutiny Committee note the content of the report which would then be shared with staff and partners to inform actions to address the issues that have arisen during the survey.

RESOLVED: That the Overview and Scrutiny Committee scrutinised the proposal for South Staffordshire Council to participate in a joint procurement of food waste caddies alongside other Staffordshire councils and provided comments to the Cabinet Member as appropriate.
